Mock Interview
A Mock Interview is a one-hour appointment and is a simulation of a real interview.
It is conducted by a Career Services Staff member. The student will be interviewed based on a
previously compiled list of interview questions that are behavior-based. If you would like your
mock interview to be more specific to a particular job or type of job, you may include that
information in the on-line scheduling form in the box entitled "job description."
You may type in information or cut and paste a job announcement into that area.
Immediately following the interview, the student will receive feedback on his/her interview skills,
how questions were answered, body language, etc., and an evaluation.
IF THIS IS PART OF A CLASS ASSIGNMENT, YOUR INSTRUCTOR WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF YOUR EVALUATION.
Interviews are recorded onto a mini DVD and may be purchased for $5.00 (optional).
If not purchased at the time of the interview, the DVD will be erased immediately.
