Official Transcripts and Application Costs

Official Transcripts      An official transcript from each school you attended will be required by the Graduate program to which you are applying. This includes the summer courses at a local community college or any other college attended. The transcripts should be sent directly from the registrar’s office at each school to the graduate programs you are applying.   Be sure to request these transcripts well in advance of the application deadline.  If you are applying to graduate programs prior to degree completion, many graduate programs will require another official transcript to be sent after graduation as proof you completed your degree.

Application Costs • Most Graduate Schools require a non-refundable application fee between $35 to $75. The fee may be waived if you meet certain financial criteria. Contact the schools directly to see if you qualify.

• Standardized Tests: Generally cost over $100. Check the testing website to confirm testing fees.

• Transcript Fees: Most schools require a fee to process an official transcript.
