Information Sessions and Pre-Interview Presentations Information sessions or pre-interview presentations allow recruiters the time to give more details and specifics and are useful in relaying information that you might not have time for during Job Fairs or private interviews. In a small group setting, recruiters can talk not only about particular job opportunities, but they can also inform potential candidates on topics such as organizational structure and environment, what it takes to be successful, the typical line of progression/promotion, future plans, etc. Timing for an on-campus presentation is usually scheduled a few weeks before a company or organization has scheduled on-campus interviews.
Advertising an on-campus presentation is critical to get the appropriate level of interest from students. Here are a few ways to increase awareness of your event.
